* his face lights up* "i'm a father!" he meows joyfully. * rushes torward the Nursery.* " He'll make a good father." * tilts ear, and hears faint purring.*

A new Queen!

" Yes Quailfeather come in." Thunderstar mews. " Ummm... Thunderstar I um... Am Expecting kits. * long pause* Well, you will have to be moved to the nursery, i suppose." "Yes but, the father doesn't know and I want you to tell him." she mews worridly. " Okay, who is he? " Thunderstar asks. " Shadowsplash, but how will he react?" " He is a brave loyal deputy, he will be thrilled, of coarse!" " Really!?" Quailfeather mews. " Thanks Thunderstar!" " Hey! I still expect you to go on the hunting patrol!" "Okay Thunderstar!"

You will now be known as Goldenfur. Dawnpaw. You have trained beside Goldenpaw and Snakepaw and even with one blind eye, you have done excellent. you will now be known as Dawnfeather! Snakepaw. When Toadheart died, you kept going. Well done. You will be Snakeheart!" *Goldenfur!Snakeheart!Dawnfeather!* "And it is time for three new apprentices! Flamekit, Mistkit, and Hailkit. Please step forward. Flamekit, you and you're littermates are six moons old now! You will now be Flamepaw, Mistpaw, and Hailpaw! Birdtail, you have asked to be Mistpaw's mentor and I will let you. Flamekit, I have seen you stare amazingly at Sunwillow and he has agreed to mentor you. Applefur, it is time for you to greet you're first apprentice, Hailpaw!" " Flamepaw, Mistpaw, and Hailpaw!"

Attack!!

Thunderstar's nose twitches as she prepares to give the battlecry. She flicks her tail to let her clan know she's signaling to be prepared. Her clan bunches their muscles as she does. " Eagleclan, attack!!!" The cats launch themselves forward as the Duskclan cats burst out of their dens. Eyes wide with shock the cats fling toward the Eagleclan cats. Screeching fills the night as the cats fight with the power of Starclan. Adderfoot was battling a warrior who had crept up on Goldenpaw and torn her ear. Suddenly, a spinechilling schreech fills the air as Applefur slices a Duskclan cats throat. Applefurs eyes wer dull with greif as the cat she had killed was her half sister, Hailwind. Thunderstar yowled the clans to stop. " Enough." She flicked her tail and she and her clan raced out of Duskclan's camp.

*Leaves rustle as cats gather.* " A moon has gone by since word of a battle. I have decided on patrols. Shadowsplash, you will lead one. Sandytail, Quailfeather, Willowstripe, Tanglepath, Applefur, and Goldenpaw. You are the first patrol. I will lead the second with, Adderfoot, Mosshead, Sunwillow, Cloudear, and Dawnpaw. The rest of you, guard the camp and nursery well."
