    Smoke Paw Held is head high as they walked in the clearing with their tails still intwined. Pebble Paw saw a she cat with a white kit beside her playing staring at them with pride and sadness in her eyes. he leaned over and whispered "thats my mom, Rain Stream, and thats my younger sister, Snow kit, My mom adopted her, she will be an apprentice soon." then Pebble Paw understood the feeling in Smoke Paws mothers eyes.

    Smoke Paw walks in camp with pebble paw on his back asleep. they were both covered in mud, leaves, twigs, and dried blood. everyone looked at them.

    " you know snow kit has had black cough, right?" rain stream questioned. smoke paw looked at her he meowed "what!??! she did??" everyone nodded. rain stream went on "well, she wasnt strong enough to survive it, she was to ill and to weak to win the fight against it. she died last night, i was with her. i tried to save her but i didnt know the herb to help her."

    frost paws face went blank with pain. she yelled "why us star clan! we lost our dad and now our sister, and pebble paws not healthy at all what if she dies too!! i wish i could have taken snow kits place, she deserved to be a warrior! and i do, but not as much as her, that was her dream, her hope, it was going to be her life!"

    Storm Paw purred "what smoke paw said is true, but i, also, would have given my life for hers, any cat would, we are just gonna have to deal with the pain. and now she hunts with star clan, shes an apprentice up there, not down here, she'll make a great warrior up there. and she could have made a great one down here also. not much has changed if you think about it."

    rain stream walked into the clearing she saw her kits get up and run to her frost paw meowed "mom you look like you've gained a lot of wieght! jeez, you would think you were expecting again!" all three cats start to laugh but rain stream thought about this was it possible? maybe she had just eaten to many mice the last few days? she had no clue which one? she looked down at her stomach, it was big, really big.

    adder paw launched him self at Smoke CLoud.but smoke cloud was to fast he moved to the side, and adder paw hit the ground hard, at that momen Smoke Cloud Jumped on top of him and held him down powerfully. he whispered in his ear "not so strong are you now, i look weaker but lets see im stronger, faster, and just plain better thatn you adder paw." Smoke Cloud Got off and ran to golden paw.
