A Prophecy!

Thunderstar awakes, cold and hungrey. She padded out of her den, and noticed something was wrong. Suddenly, she dropped to the ground, unconsious. She was dreaming she was in her old camp, further down the forest. When she was a tiny kit, she had made a small campsite their, and claimed she had built it. This time, when she entered, instead of it being empty, it smelled of cat. How is that possible? The thought burned in her mind. Someone must be using my camp! She quickly corrected herself. This, was her camp, where her clan was. That was a large bramble bush underneath an oak. Nothing more than that. But something troubled her. Out of nowhere, a large tuft of her fur fell down in front of her. She stiffened, and a prophecy blazed through her mind. Those who ride the shadows, can not be trusted.

New Apprentices!

" Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet under the mossyroot for a clan meeting!
We have two new apprentices today! Blossomkit and Rainkit." She signals to them with a flick of her tail. " You have turned six moons, and the time has come for you to become Apprentices. Blossomkit. You will be Mosshead's apprentice, Blossompaw. Serve your clan well." Blossompaw and Mosshead touch noses, then pad away. " Rainkit." Thunderstar continued, her eyes shining with happiness. " You will now be called Rainpaw, your mentor will be, Newmoon. Serve your clan to the death." Rainpaw nodded, and bounded over to Newmoon, and happily touched noses with her. " That is all!" Thunderstar turns and pads to her den while cats cheer for the new apprentices, their voices filling the night sky.

Tanglepath's first strike.

" Let all cats meet under the mossyroot for a clan meeting!" Thunderstar's voice rang out through the clearing, full of sadness and worry. " While out hunting, Shadowsplash was killed by Tanglepath. We found his body in a clump of weeds with Tanglepath's scent all over the place. I want extra-" Thunderstar was cut off as Quailfeather hurtled across the clearing to Shadowsplash's broken, unmoving body. Her kits were right behind her. They let out shocked wails and scampered to their dead father. They let out tiny whimpers, and soon were buried in his cold fur. The assembled cats watched with grief clouding their eyes. They turned their attention back to Thunderstar. " As I was Saying, I want extra Patrols of Five cats each. Four warriors and one apprentice." Thunderstar took a long sad pause before mewing, " The new deputy of Eagleclan, is Rainfeather. I trust you to be cautious and aware of your surroundings, and be the best deputy you can be." Thunderstar and Rainfeather touch noses, and the cats pad back to their nests. Thunderstar looks up at Silverpelt, and prays that Rainfeather will be a great deputy.

" Birchleaf has been announced the father of her kits. Volepaw and Scarletpaw, would you go collect some moss?" *They dash out of camp looking for the perfect kind of moss. Rabbit ear moss.* " That is all!"

" Let all cats meet under the mossyroot for a clan meeting! Quickfoot's kits were born last night! I would like you to meet Tulipkit,Spucekit, Lilackit, Smokekit, and Peachkit. Four she-cats and a tom! That is all!"

What the badger patrol found.

" Cats of Eagleclan, we have made a shocking discovery. My little sister, Tanglepath, has been feeding the badgers rabbits and squirrels, luring them into her command. I have decided, to banish her. Badger scent is a mere couple of fox length's away, and a small hole has been discoverd by Scarletpaw and Pebblestream. One cat's scent, mingled with another cat's scent, remains there." *Tanglepath's eyes go wide with shock, and anger. Her body, goes ridgid with shock then flashes back to life. She leaps at the nearest cats, Blizzardstorm and Sparrowflight, and starts to claw them. They eaisily push her away, to the camp entrance, the warriors, guarding the Nursery and the Elders Den. She yowls in fury, as several more warriors start surrounding her, and Thornwhisker, her so called accomplice.*
Thunderstar's head swings forward as the warriors hold them down. " I know who you are. I know what you've done. Leave. If my patrols find you, we will chase you away." *Tanglepath and Thornwhisker dash toward the exit, anger flowing out in waves.*

Also, Hawkstar (who takes piano with me) a student at Samford, (a collage) has died in his sleep on September 7th, 2009. He was a basketball player named Jim Griffen. His cause of death is unknown, and I decided to tell you guys cause I felt like sharing it.
