*pads over and claws up a palm tree, then climbs back down, heading for camp.*
ReplyDeleteHawkeye stopped in front of a tree to sharpen her claws. She jumped on her hindlegs, supporting herself with the tree. Scraping her claws down the side of the tree, she observed them carefully until they were the correct length and sharp enough for her. She began to pad back to camp, but the reflecting waters sparkling in the sunset stopped her. As she turned around, she felt something sharp beneath her paws. A green, translucent piece of hard stuff was on the ground. It was scattered all over the shore, glittering in the final light of the day. She carefully stepped over every piece, then ran back to Thunderstar's den to tell her.
